The Wimbledon Brewery Company Ltd jobs
The Wimbledon Brewery started production of cask and keg ales from its 30 barrel brewery in SW19 this June, 125 years since beer was last brewed in Wimbledon.
Our Master Brewer is Derek Prentice, who has been brewing wonderful beer since the 1960’s, at Truman’s, Young’s and Fuller’s. Derek recently received the SIBA lifetime achievement award for brewing and was named Brewer’s Brewer of the year 2013.
The Wimbledon Brewery has a long and interesting history. The original brewery was established in 1832 in Wimbledon High Street and stood where the old fire station is today.  It produced beer until 1889, when its 5-storey tower brewery burned down.
We are producing a range of fine, crafted beers. Our flagship beer is ‘Common’ Pale Ale, a quintessentially English bitter and easy drinking at 3.7%. We also have a delicious ‘Tower’ Special Pale Ale at 4.5% with lovely malt on the palate. We also now have our ‘Quartermaine’ IPA, a traditional English IPA at 5.8% which is truly God’s work.
We are now in production of our traditional English Quartemaine IPA in bottled format too. This will be the first of a number of styles which we will bottle in the coming months, including our Tower SPA, in addition, a lagered golden beer and an elderflower beer using finest champagne yeast , with elderflower hand-picked from the Getty family estate at Wormsley with whom we are partners. We will also be producing a delicious smoked porter, Phoenix, in the new year, picture also attached.
We are currently supplying the Hurlingham Club as sole ale provider and the RAC at Pall Mall and Woodcote as well as a growing number of 190 + landmark sites across London.
We have also recently been included in Country & Townhouse 2016 Great British Brands, which you can view here:

In March, we will also appear in the Walpole British Luxury Brand 2016 Magazine.
We are also currently in the process of producing a beer bread with Marcus Miller of Miller’s artisan bakery and also a beer cheddar using hops and beer in collaboration with The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company.
In the meantime, please take a look at our website, www.wimbledonbrewery.com to see a little more on what we are doing. You can also follow our news on twitter @WimbledonBrew or Facebook at The Wimbledon Brewery.
