Hop Back brewery was established in 1987  and was one of the pioneers of golden ales. A predominanty cask ale brewer based in Downton just outside Salisbury in picturesque Wiltshire. The brewery produces a range of year round and seasonal beers that have collected a number of awards across the food and drink industry.

Innovation lies at the heart of Hop Back brewing with the pioneering and award winning Summer Lightning being supported by Gluten Free Crop Circle, Lemongrass infused Taiphoon and vegan Entire stout as well as an intriguing range of predominantly single variety hop seasonal beers.

Hop Back contnues in invest in  the brewery with the recent implementation of a new brewhouse, an in house bottling line for bottle conditioned beer and a  cold store to ensure product arrives at our customer in peak condition.

The brewery is supported by a vibrant free trade and an estate of 10 pubs who are advocates for our beers driving the flavour and quality message to consumers.
